Commentary
And when the decree was: 'Indeed, We have conveyed in the admonition to everyone who hears this story,' He emphasized with His saying for the sake of those who turn away from this Qur'an and justify their turning away from it by its difficulty: 'And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy,' meaning: according to what We have of power and greatness, 'the Qur'an,' meaning: the book that encompasses all good, distinguishing between every confusing matter. 'For remembrance,' meaning: for preservation, and reminding, and remembering, and attaining awareness through it and honor in both abodes. And when this is the utmost necessity for all those who turn to it, He said: 'So is there any who will remember?' meaning: one who looks into it with the intention of fairness and detachment from desires to see all that We have informed him of, so We may assist him in it.
