From a drop. And He formed its being from it by His saying: 'When it is emitted.' This means it is poured and discharged by action, not before that, so that there can be an objection that it was a beginning or otherwise. Rather, you know that a child is not created except after the emission by action. And its origin allows a creation from the creation of Allah to know just by seeing it whether it is suitable for females only, or for males only, or for both, or for forms with femininity.
