And when he negated that the sin of others could harm him, he also negated that the effort of others could benefit him. He said: "And that there is not for man except that for which he strives." So it is necessary for him to know the truth in which direction he should strive. The supplication of the believers for the believer is his striving by being kind to them, even if it is by agreeing with them in religion. Likewise, performing Hajj on his behalf and giving charity and similar acts. As for the child, it is clear in this regard. And as for what is due to knowledge and similar matters, it is likewise. The sacrifice for the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, in his determination is a great principle in this. For whoever follows him has indeed shown kindness to him. And this is a principle in giving charity on behalf of others and dedicating what he has of reward in recitation and similar acts.
