﴿Or do they have﴾ specifically without others ﴿the treasures﴾. And since mentioning mercy is not required by the intended purpose of the Surah, which is punishment, it was not mentioned as in (Sad) and (Subhan). It was said: ﴿Your Lord﴾, the One who is gracious to you by sending you with this message, so they may know that what has been established by it is not from his saying, because there is no control over the treasures except by them. Thus, their saying that you fabricated it becomes valid, and at that point, they will face endless disgrace, among which is that they should bring a saying like it, or even better than it, from those treasures. ﴿Or are they﴾ not others ﴿the ones in control﴾, meaning the overseers, the guardians, the powerful, the authoritative, the wise leaders, the scribes, so that they may be the ones who regulate all matters, just as is the case with the secretaries of kings, so they may know that you fabricated this mention because they did not write it to you.
