Commentary

And when the serving is not complete nor great except with servants and drinkers, He said: "And there will circulate among them" meaning with cups and other types of delicacies. "Youth" and since what is most beloved to a person is what is exclusive to him, He said: "For them" and He did not attribute them to Him so that it would not be thought that they are the ones who served them in this world. So every person who served someone in this world, by word or action, may fear to be a servant to him in Paradise and be saddened by being continuously subordinate. The use of the indefinite form indicates that everyone who enters Paradise will find for himself servants whom he did not know before that. "As if they were" in their whiteness and the intensity of their purity, "hidden pearls" meaning preserved in the shell, not altered by external factors. This is the state of the servant, so what do you think of the served?
