And when he portrayed their denial in the most hideous form, he clarified their wretchedness by explaining the nature of it and what will be done in it. He said: "On the Day they will be pushed," meaning they will be forcefully pushed away with harshness and severity from everything that Allah has prepared for that, going and ending up "to the Fire of Hell," which is the level that will meet them with frowning, hatred, anger, and roaring. He affirmed and established the meaning by saying: "pushed." Al-Baghawi said: This is because the guardians of Hell will raise their hands to their necks and gather their forelocks to their feet, then they will be pushed face down and shoved on their backs, being told as a reprimand and scolding:
