And when he, blessings and peace be upon him, was almost destroying his noble soul - may my father and mother be sacrificed for him - due to the distress and sorrow for their being free from Islam and the fear that he would not fulfill what was upon him of warning and informing, Allah, glorified and exalted is He, caused His saying regarding their condition: "So turn away from them". This means: burden yourself with turning away from conveying to them by arguing and speaking harshly after what you have already conveyed. "So you are not" due to the turning away after the warning "to be blamed". This means: deserving of blame because of the turning away of those who turned away from you. Indeed, I have judged this because I have divided the people into a believer who will benefit from the reminder, and a tyrant who will not benefit from anything. And for this reason, He said:
