And when he indicated that at the time of his denial of them, he did not know what type they were nor specifically what they were in, he arranged in response to their greeting that he hurried as fast as possible to bring what is appropriate for the guest, assuming that they were human beings. So he said: ﴿Then he went﴾ (p-463), meaning: he went in secrecy and swiftness and in places of concealment from their eyes, as is from the etiquette of hospitality, fearing that they might prevent him or that the waiting would disturb them. ﴿To his family﴾ [meaning] those who had a calf. ﴿So he came with a calf﴾, meaning: a young one from the offspring of cattle, ﴿fat﴾ which he had roasted and cooked.
