Commentary
And when he mentioned their dealings with the Creator, he followed it with the dealings with the created beings, completing the reality of goodness. He said: "And in their wealth" meaning: every type of it, "there is a right" meaning: a fixed share. And since the context here is about goodness, their goodness, due to their immense love for the servants of Allah, does not prevent them from fulfilling the obligatory, unlike what is in the context of "those who pray" where he left the description as known. He said: "for the beggar" meaning: the one who is alerted to his need by asking people, and he is the one who is seeking help. "And the deprived" which is the one who is dignified and does not find what suffices him, and does not ask people nor is he noticed so that someone may give charity to him. And this is the characteristic of the people of the bench, may Allah be pleased with them. The doers of good recognize the one with this description because of their clear insight and Allah's care for them.
