And when the pillars of power were established and the tidings of victory were confirmed, and it was concluded with what is true regarding the resurrection, which is the greatest revival, indicating what is observed from His actions, and He affirmed it against their denial of the resurrection, He said: "Indeed, we" meaning: by what we have of greatness, "We" specifically "give life and cause death." The renewal of that is something after something, a settled tradition and a continuous habit, as you observe it. For it was from us, with the first revival, the beginning, "and to Us" specifically regarding death, then revival, "is the return," meaning: the turning and its place and time is that We give life to all whom We have caused to die on the Day of Resurrection and gather them to the place of judgment, so We will judge between them. And the return is not more difficult than the beginning. So whoever acknowledges it and denies the resurrection is certainly obstinate or insane.
