And when He magnified this station by what He clothed it with from the garment of generality, He replaced it with clarification and an increase in glorification by His saying: ﴿On the Day they will hear﴾, meaning: those who are called ﴿the cry﴾, meaning: a cry that has made them deaf, calling them to Badr in this world. It was a decisive cry that rendered them deaf to all their actions. And the cry of the second blowing in the trumpet in the Hereafter, so both are blowings for gathering to the judgment between the rightful and the false.

﴿With truth﴾, meaning: the established matter which they used to call magic and consider as imagination. So they will know then that the reality may correspond to it, and it was indeed true since the reality has matched it, thus the news of it was truthful.

And when He magnified it, glorified and exalted is He, with generality after generality, indicating that what is in it from the severe horrors would take a long explanation in words, He increased its glorification by what the speech produced, saying: ﴿That﴾, meaning: the great day in which the diligent will appear and the glory will rise for the weak believers. ﴿The Day of emergence﴾, meaning: the one from which there is no greater emergence; it is their emergence from their homes in this world to their places of death at Badr, and from their graves from the earth from which they were created to their places in the Fire.
