And when He mentioned - glorified and exalted is He - the reward of the obedient; those who hasten to submit; as encouragement; He mentioned the reward of those who do not act like them; as a warning; and He said: "And those who disbelieved"; meaning: they concealed what their minds clarified to them of the evidence for the truth of what the messengers called them to; "and denied"; meaning: out of stubbornness; "our signs"; meaning: the signs that are attributed to us due to their greatness; "those"; meaning: the far removed from mercy; "are the companions of the Hellfire"; meaning: those who do not cease from it; and none other than them from the sinful believers; even if their major sins are many.
