And when He negated from them what is hidden, and concluded their argument, glorified and exalted is He, with this condition, it was possible that the short-sighted and stagnant thinker might assume the lack of knowledge about what he is upon. He removed that in a general manner and confirmed it by saying: ﴿Indeed, Allah﴾ meaning: the One who encompasses everything in power and knowledge ﴿knows﴾ meaning: by way of the establishment of the attribute and the purity of the attachment and its continuity whenever a new occurrence arises or is such that it arises ﴿the unseen of the heavens﴾ meaning: all of them ﴿and the earth﴾ likewise.

And when generalization was intended without restriction to the two horizons, He made clear and did not conceal His saying: ﴿And Allah﴾ meaning: the One who has encompassed that and other than it from what you do not know ﴿is All-Seeing﴾ meaning: fully knowledgeable, both outwardly and inwardly ﴿of what you do﴾ from the outward of your Islam and the inward of your faith in the past, present, and future, whether it is outward or inward, whether it has occurred and thus you know it or it is ingrained in your nature and is hidden from you.
