And when he mentioned the victory, he mentioned some of its fruits, saying: ﴿and the spoils﴾. He indicated by the form of the plural that they are great. Then he made this clear in his saying: ﴿abundant﴾. And when something may sometimes be referred to by its strength without action, he removed that by His saying, the Exalted: ﴿they take it﴾, and it is Khaybar. And when this was unlikely due to the abundance of the disbelievers and the fewness of the believers, he clarified its reason, saying, adding to what you estimate: by the might of Allah and His wisdom: ﴿And Allah was﴾, meaning: the One who has no equal ﴿Mighty﴾, meaning: He prevails and is not prevailed upon ﴿Wise﴾, perfecting what He wills so that it is not undone.
