And when He informed about the recompense, He clarified how it is applied between the Book of Revelation and the Book of Deeds. What the Book of Revelation has judged, the Exalted and Great One has enforced. He said, indicating the Book of Revelation with a near tool due to its proximity and ease of understanding: "This is Our Book" [meaning] that which We have revealed upon the tongues of Our Messengers. "It speaks" meaning: it bears witness with a testimony [that is] in its clarification like the speaking: "against you with the truth" meaning: the established matter that corresponds to the reality of your deeds. This is by saying: Whoever does such and such is a disbeliever, and whoever does such and such is a sinner, and whoever does such and such is obedient. Thus, it applies that to what you have done, and then what the Book has informed of corresponds to your deeds, with no increase in it nor decrease. Every comprehensive applies to its parts equally, just as We will give you knowledge of that on that day. The matter of your natures will be revealed, and what has occurred from you of the particulars of actions will not be missed by it, even a particle. And you will know that this reality from you corresponds to what the Book has informed of, which We have revealed, for it is true because the reality corresponds to it. This is its speaking against you, and as for its speaking for you, the favor: the good deed is multiplied by ten times and more than that.

And when the custom is established in the world of establishing rights by writing documents, and they were as if they were saying: Who will preserve our deeds with their abundance along with the long duration and the distance of time? And they denied the matter of the guardians and others that the Messengers brought. He confirmed His saying, responding with what brings closer to the mind of the one who asks about that: "Indeed, We" with what We have of power and greatness, being free from the need for writing, "have always" "been commanding Our Angels to copy" meaning: to order them to copy any transfer. "What you were" naturally for you and characteristically "doing" in saying, action, and intention. If the intended meaning of copying is absolute transfer, it is clear. And if the transfer is from an origin, it is an indication of the Tablet of Natures referred to by 'you were' or from the Preserved Tablet to correspond with what the worker does. And it is well-known among people that everyone has inscribed on their forehead what they encounter of good or evil.
