And when it was established through this clear perspective of His Lordship, and by the absence of disruption in management over the long duration of His Oneness, and by the absence of following a single system in every aspect He acted by choice and His power, He made this clear, warning them that the correct perspective produced this and there is no doubt. So He said, "There is no deity except Him." [This means] otherwise, there would be one who disputes Him in His matters or some of them would dispute, or it would be possible for one to dispute, and He would necessarily be in need. Otherwise, He would have repelled from Himself one who could dispute Him and oppose Him. Thus, He would not be suitable for management and dominance over all who oppose His messengers and inspiration for all who agree with them throughout the passage of time and the prolongation of the ages, and the unfolding of events in a continuous system, and a stable, established state.

And when it was established that there is no manager of existence other than Him, His saying became established: "He gives life and causes death," for that is due to what is in them of management. And it is a reminder of the completeness of the proof of Oneness, for there is nothing in them that remains to which management could be ascribed, and something from the matters could be referred to Him.
