And when this is understood to pertain to matters without limit, He clarified that there is no burden upon Him, glorified is He, in it. There is no renewal with Him at any time for something that did not previously exist except for the attachment of ability according to will. So He said, affirming the greatness of what His description includes by stating that He is Wise: ﴿An affair﴾ meaning: the state of all this, with its spread and lack of confinement, is indeed a very great singular affair in which there is no multiplicity. We planned it in eternity, decreed it, perfected it, and chose it to exist at its appointed times with determination. It is manifested according to what it has of precision in its moments in less than the blink of an eye. This indicates that it is not exhaustive of what is under His ability, glorified is He, by affirming the proximity, so He said: ﴿From Us﴾ meaning: from the extraordinary and the miraculous and what is beyond it. And when He clarified the state of the criterion, which among its components is the warning, He justified it by saying, affirming what they have of denial: ﴿Indeed, We﴾ meaning: by what we have of attributes of perfection and the perfection of greatness ﴿were﴾ meaning: eternally and forever ﴿Messengers﴾ meaning: we have the attribute of sending with the ability to do so at every moment. Sending is for the interests of the servants, and it must include the criterion with glad tidings and warnings and others so that there is no confusion. Thus, no one will have an argument against Allah after the messengers. This coherent speech and the interwoven words, which are closely aligned in the most beautiful arrangement in describing the night of revelation, indicate that no sheet or book was revealed except on this night. This indicates that it is the Night of Decree, according to the narrations that state that all the books were revealed in it, as I have explained in my book: 'The Ascents of Vision for Oversight on the Objectives of the Chapters.' Likewise, His saying in Surah Al-Qadr: ﴿The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter﴾ [Al-Qadr: 4]. For indeed, the revelation, which is the essence of that, is the spirit of wise matters. And He clarified, glorified is He, the state of the messages by saying:
