And when the listener yearned for the owner of that punishment, he said, replacing what was before it to clarify that Pharaoh himself was a punishment due to his excessive harm towards them: ﴿From Pharaoh﴾. Then he explained that with what is known from him, the correctness of the description of the punishment, saying, confirming that the state of Quraysh in humiliating the believers is like that of one who denies that Allah saved the Children of Israel despite their weakness. So He saves others from the weak or denies that Pharaoh was strong: ﴿Indeed, he was high﴾ in his nature, being rooted in superiority: ﴿From the transgressors﴾, meaning: those deeply entrenched in exceeding limits.
