And when the rescue of the Children of Israel from the Egyptians was an astonishing matter that is hardly believable, let alone that it would be by the destruction of their enemies, glorified is He, He emphasized the news of that as a reference to what is due to Him of greatness, alerting that He is capable of doing the same with this Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, and his followers, even though the Quraysh see that as impossible and that they are in His grasp. He said: "And indeed We saved" meaning: with what we have of greatness, "a great salvation" even though it was due to the separate signs that were gradual. "The Children of Israel" our sincere servant to Us "from the humiliating punishment" because they were among them in the count of slaves, using men and women, and indeed they were more humiliated due to the control over the slaves by slaughtering the sons.
