And when the truth became clear, the signs of truth shone in all that exists after the invalidation of their doubts and the clarification of their errors. He knew that they were acting by placing things in other than their proper places, like the actions of a player who is merely playing. So he said, causing this: "So leave them" (p-491), meaning leave them in their worst conditions. "Let them engage" means let them act like one who is wading in water, placing his foot which is his support in something he does not know, and he may not be pleased with it due to his lack of knowledge about it. "And let them play" means let them act like a player engrossed in doing what does not benefit him and does not increase him. "Until they meet" means they act by wasting their lifetimes in doing what does not benefit them, like the efforts of those who strive to meet "their day which they are promised" with a promise that there is no falsehood in it, where their threats will become evident and their warnings will be justified.
