And when this opportunity was seized, and the mention of it was justified by the effect of their bad belief from the great distress, he began to complete what the situation necessitates of descriptions. He said, returning to the style of honor and knowledge to imply the encouragement to reflect on the evidence of the resurrection of the dead by the spread of the dead, reiterating the emphasis on the completeness of that description which necessitates the realization of the intended purpose of the surah regarding the ability to bring them back after having been turned away: "And He who created the pairs," meaning the similar kinds, of which nothing reaches the ultimate perfection except with the other, according to what He has arranged, glorified is He, in the systems of this existence, "all of them" from plants and animals, and other than that from all other creations, no one shares with Him in anything of it.

And when He mentioned the pairs, and the immediate thought was to apply it to what is of one type, it indicated that what is intended is something broader. He said, mentioning what is similar in carrying and differing in body: "And He made for you," not for others, so be grateful to Him, "of the ships," meaning the large ships in the sea, "and the animals" on land, "that you ride." And the omission of the return is for the understanding of the meaning, emphasizing the self-transitive in the animals over the transitive by means of the ships.
