And when the descent of water from above is in the utmost wonder, especially when it occurs at a time other than its usual time, and the growth of plants by it is even more wondrous, and it is a sign of resurrection without a doubt, the purpose of the surah is that they must be turned away from their stubbornness by the greatest disbelief to faith and submission to Him with utmost acceptance. He indicates by this the perfection of power over that and other matters by pointing to the completeness of the description through the conjunction and by repeating the relative pronoun that indicates the masculine subject in His greatness to alert that the repetition, of which this is the evidence, is the secret of existence. It is more noble than what was intended by the previous verse regarding the earth's cradle and the paths: "And He Who sent down" means gradually. Were it not for His manifest power, it would have been a single instant or close to it. "From the sky" means the high place. "Water" is sweet for your crops, fruits, and your drinking for yourselves and your livestock. "In measure" means in a way that benefits people and does not harm them by being according to their needs. And it indicated the greatness of growth by directing the saying to the manifestation of greatness, alerting that it is the evident proof of what He has reached by the revival of the dead. He said, causing this: "So We revived" means We gave life, and the root revolves around movement, extension, and spreading. "By it" means the water. "A city" means a place where people gather for residence, caring for its revival, cooperating to maintain it. "Dead" means its vegetation may have dried, and its people were unable to bring water to it to revive it. Perhaps He feminized the city and masculinized the dead, indicating that its reaching weakness and death has reached the utmost limit due to the weakness of its land in itself and the weakness of its people in reviving it, the drought of the time, and the decay of what was in it from vegetation.

And when there is no difference between gathering water for the plants from the depths of the earth after it has been soil from the totality of its soil and bringing it out as it was flourishing, shaking with life in its form and colors, and what was of its branches, its twigs, by the command of Allah, and between all of Allah's creation for what has disintegrated from the bodies of humans and bringing it out as it was with its spirit and all its essences and attributes, except that Allah is capable in every regard and at every time without any condition at all. Water has no power except by the decree of Allah, glorified and exalted is He. It is a great pride to seize the opportunity to decree what they deny and by which they disbelieve regarding resurrection. So He, glorified and exalted is He, said to awaken them from their slumber, a resurrection from the death of their intoxication: "Thus" means like this great emergence of what you see from the plants. "You will be brought out" from physical and metaphorical death by an easier matter than His matter, glorified and exalted is He, and the easiest affair. So you will come forth in the company of the dead from the earth again. "When you are but humans spreading" [Ar-Rum: 20] and you will emerge from the darkness of ignorance to the light of faith, and when you are wise and knowledgeable.
