And when He, glorified and exalted is He, mentioned their foolishness in their disbelief in the Hereafter, He began to mention the evidence of His power over it and over all that He wills in the creation of the universes and what is in them, which includes them and their deities from the inanimate and others, indicating that He is One with no partner. He said, denying them [and affirming the description because they were knowledgeable about the origin of creation]: "Say" meaning: to the one who denies the Hereafter, denying him [with your words]: "Do you indeed" And He affirmed their denial by stating what is necessary for them from disbelief: "You will surely deny" meaning: you will find the reality of the concealment of the lights of the apparent minds "by the One who created the earth" meaning: regarding its vastness and greatness from nothingness "in two days" so you deny His power to resurrect what He created [from it] initially while you acknowledge that He began its creation and the creation of that from it. And these two days are Sunday and Monday - this was transmitted from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, and Abdullah ibn Salam, may Allah be pleased with him. Ibn al-Jawzi said: and the majority, and the hadith of Muslim which was mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah: "Allah created the soil on Saturday" contradicts this, for the beginning in it is on Saturday, and it is explicit that the creation of the earth and what is in it is in six days as is evident from this verse. It is responded that what is meant by creation in it is the extraction of its sustenance by action, and what is meant here is its preparation to accept that. It is also argued that the days were only by the rotation of the celestial bodies, and that was only after the completion of creation by action. The apparent meaning is that what is meant by the day is what al-Harali said: the measure of what is completed in it is an apparent matter or the measure of two days you know from the days of this world.

And when He mentioned their disbelief in resurrection and others, He turned to "You will deny" His saying: "And you make for Him equals" meaning: with this disbelief "from what He created," so you affirm for Him actions and sayings while you have not seen anything of that. So you denied what you do like it and greater than it, and you affirmed what you have not done at all. This is the clear misguidance.

And when He rebuked them for their vile belief, He magnified that by magnifying His status, glorified and exalted is He, and said: "That" meaning: (the great deity) "the Lord of the worlds" meaning: their creator and sustainer, and that certainly indicates all that He has of the attributes of perfection.
