Commentary

Then he explained that by his saying - indicating the necessity of the oneness of Allah and justice -: ﴿Allah﴾; meaning: the One who has no equal; ﴿there is no deity except Him﴾; meaning: and He has commanded you to be just in intercession; and peace; so if you do not do it - due to the shortcomings you have (p-353) which include the lack of oneness - He is the doer of it; and there is no doubt, so beware of Him; for He is One; so there is no opponent to Him in anything of the reckoning; nor otherwise; and nothing is hidden from Him; for the judgment of the innermost is indeed for Him (glorified and exalted is He); as for you, you have only been tasked with the apparent.
