And when the decree was: "For indeed, among you are those who go out to jihad without any determination; and without caution"; he added to it his saying - clarifying what is one of the greatest objectives of these verses; which is the rebuke of the hypocrites; for the warning against them; and describing them with some of what they conceal; confirming that everyone who claims faith denies being like that -: ﴿And indeed, among you﴾; meaning: O you who have believed; and our honor; ﴿will certainly delay﴾; meaning: he hesitates within himself about jihad; due to his weakness in faith; or his hypocrisy; and he commands others to do so; an emphatic command; showing concern for you; and this is pure deceit; for it results in weakness that leads to the audacity of the enemy; which leads to destruction.
And when it is for the one who hesitates about them two states of victory; and defeat; it is caused by his hesitation; (p-325) swearing by his saying in them: ﴿So if disaster strikes you﴾; meaning: in your faces from which they sat back; ﴿he said﴾; that sitting one - out of ignorance from him; and harshness -: ﴿Indeed, Allah has bestowed﴾; meaning: the greatest king; mentioning this name; not knowing its meaning; ﴿upon me when﴾; meaning: when; or because I; ﴿was not present with them as a witness﴾; meaning: present; and it is permissible that he means the legal witness; and his use of it is in the context of concession; as if he is saying: This which is the highest in their view; he prepared its loss from me as a great blessing;
