Commentary
﴿So among them﴾; that is: from the family of Ibrahim; ﴿is he who believes in him﴾; and they are the majority of the Arabs; ﴿and among them is he who turns away from him﴾; that is: he turns away by himself; and turns others away; like the Children of Israel; and some of the Arabs.
And when it was known from the context that the one who criticizes him is dead due to his envy; without harming him with any worldly matter; and the estimation for clarifying their matter in the Hereafter is: "So We decreed that the Fire be kindled against them; after humiliation in this world; and disgrace and degradation"; he added to it his saying: ﴿And sufficient is Hell as a blaze﴾; that is: in intensity; and burning to the utmost degree of burning; and hardship; and hastening to harm; and in the verse of tyranny, it indicates that they allowed for a substitute of the religion - which is the most honored to a person - in their testimony for the disbelievers of guidance; and in the verse of kingship, it hints that they are in the lowest point of greed for the worthless, perishable; and in the verse of envy that it was not enough for them to be settled in the lowest point of greed for what they were given; along with wealth; until they sank lower than that due to envy for one whom Allah has given what does not diminish them.
