And when He reprimanded them - glorified and exalted is He - for their ignorance; He warned against their support of Him; so He said - clarifying that it would not benefit them at all; frightening them greatly with the confrontation of such a warning; and the address; then the indication afterward -: ﴿Here you are﴾; and He increased in the intimidation; for the specification of what is from the argument; which is the most intense of opposition - from 'the argument of the rope'; which is the intensity of its twisting - and its manifestation in the form of mutual action; so He said - clarifying that what is meant by the previous statement is the threat -: ﴿You argued on their behalf﴾; in this incident; or otherwise; ﴿in the worldly life﴾; meaning: by what has been made available to you of the means.
