Commentary
And when the brides of these meanings became manifest; taking hold of the minds; and the swords of those structures shone; cutting the necks; and He concluded it with what He concluded; from the clear declaration of terror; it produced; and it must be; His saying - explaining the coming of what He threatened them with; confirming what they had of denial of the content of this news -: ﴿Indeed, We have sent down﴾; meaning: by what We have of overwhelming greatness; and effective word.
And when the mediation of the kingdom was hidden; He did not prepare it; so He dropped the letter of the end; to imply that it is in reality without mediation; after He established its mediation at the beginning of the surah; so He said - coupled with the command to worship; indicating the beginning of the state; and when the establishment occurred; the Book became a character for him ﷺ and his appearance in it became a guide for others; He alerted to that with the tool of elevation; so He said: ﴿Upon you﴾; meaning: specifically; not upon others from the people of this time; because you are for us the pure one; without the people of the two towns; and without the people of the entire earth; there was nothing for anything other than us in you; ﴿the Book﴾; encompassing all good; for its being in the utmost perfection; by what is indicated by " , " ﴿for mankind﴾; generally; because your message is general; ﴿with the truth﴾; accompanying it; the creation cannot remove a meaning from its meanings from its intent; nor a word from its words from its path and limit; rather it is miraculous in its meanings - whether present or absent - and its structures; and its words; and the names of its surahs; and its verses; and all its forms; so there must be the coming of what is in it of promise; and warning.
And when the necessity of hastening to submit to it arose from the knowledge of that; for the success of the two abodes; His saying (the Exalted) became very good - as a consolation for him ﷺ; for the greatness of what he has of compassion for them; and a threat to them -: ﴿So whoever is guided﴾; meaning: obeyed the guide; ﴿then for himself﴾; meaning: so his guidance is specifically beneficial to him; he has no share in it except for the reward of causing it; ﴿And whoever goes astray﴾; meaning: he fell into misguidance by opposing the call of nature; then the call of the message out of knowledge; and intent; or neglecting to reflect; and being careless; and when it was perhaps he fell into the delusion that he would follow the caller after the statement from the sin of the misguided; and the context was for the threat to the misguided; he increased in emphasis; so he said: ﴿Then indeed, he only misguides upon it﴾; meaning: there is nothing upon you from his misguidance; so do not let your soul go after them in regrets.
And when the context guided to the fact that the estimation is: "So you are not upon them a tyrant to compel them (p-517) to guidance"; he added to it his saying: ﴿And you are not﴾; meaning: in this state; and for more attention to the negation of compulsion; he advanced the tool of elevation; so he said: ﴿Upon them as a guardian﴾; to protect them from misguidance; for the message to them is to establish the proof; not for the ability of the messenger to guide them; nor for the incapacity of the sender regarding that." :
