Commentary

And when His oneness and His power were established by this; and that did not deter them from their misguidance; nor did it turn them away from their arrogance and their delusions; despite the fact that it necessitated that everyone should turn to Him; and never deviate from Him; He said - commanding them with what would alert them to the enormity of their error -: "Say, He is"; meaning: this matter which I have recited to you from the news; about the past; and what is to come from the resurrection which includes the mentioned disputes; and others; and the rulings; and the admonitions; thus the oneness was established by its content; and it was realized by its miraculous nature; along with the establishment of oneness; and the completeness of power; and all attributes of perfection; that it is the speech of Allah; "a great news"; meaning: a report that surpasses description in majesty and greatness; by the indication of the expression; and the attribute; none turns away from it except the heedless; who has no awareness of it; and nothing from opinion.
