Commentary
And when He, glorified and exalted is He, made this reward enticing; He replaced it or clarified it by His saying: "Gardens of Eternity"; meaning: a dwelling in continuous enjoyment; and pleasant living; and growth; and fullness; and noble origin.
And when it was one of the prevailing signs; He established from it in the state His saying: "opened wide"; meaning: a great and profound opening; without them experiencing any hardship in its opening; or request; or fatigue; and the fact that this description is singular indicates that its opening, despite its abundance, was for them at one time; until it seemed as if it were one single door; "for them"; meaning: not for others; "the doors"; which belong to it; and which are in it; so they will not be met with the humiliation of the doorkeepers in their entering; nor the burden of seeking permission; the angels will greet them with honor and respect.
