Commentary
And when this claim was something astonishing; almost no one would hear it except that they would deny it; he presented the words emphatically; so he said: "Indeed, this"; referring to a person among those present; then he replaced it with his words: "my brother"; meaning: in religion; and companionship; then he informed about him by saying: "he has ninety-nine sheep"; and it is permissible that "my brother" is the news; and the emphasis then is for the sake of distancing the conflict of the brother; and his aggression against his brother; and what follows is a continuation; "and I"; meaning: I, O claimant; "have one sheep"; and when that was possible for it to be a kind; he emphasized it by saying: "one"; then he caused the saying: "so he said"; meaning: the one who has the most; "give it to me"; meaning: give it to me; so that I may be its guardian; "and he has overwhelmed me"; meaning: he has dominated me; and has become strong against me; and has intensified; and has been harsh with me; "in the speech"; meaning: the words that have significance from argumentation and others; by having a discussion with me until he made me weary; so I became silent out of inability to continue with him; and he was not satisfied with anything from me except for what he intended.
