Commentary
And when Allah had decreed from eternity his safety from all evil; despite the multitude of enemies; the length of his stay among them; and the intensity of the conflict; He (the Most High) said - beginning anew; praising -: "Peace"; meaning: "great"; "upon Noah"; from every living being; from the jinn; and mankind; and the angels; for the peace of Allah be upon him; And when the language of all the people of the earth in his time - peace be upon him - was one; they were all his people; and there was no prophet in his time; thus his prophethood was the center of the circle of that time; and his message was general to his people; and others among the creation were followers of them; he was specifically honored in peace; by saying: "among the worlds"; meaning: mentioned among all of them; in word and meaning; peace be upon him always until the Day of Resurrection; and the specificity of our Prophet - blessings and peace be upon him - is that he was sent to all of creation; with the diversity of tongues; and with the continuity of the message; for eternity; and his law being abrogating and not abrogated; and all of creation on the Day of Resurrection under his banner; there it will manifest the completeness of what he was given from the universality of the mission; to what has appeared of it in this world.
