Then he pointed out that the place of fitnah is to place it in what they deny. So He said (the Most High) - confirming for the sake of their denial; explaining the reason for making it a fitnah that mixes with them, turning them in this world by its heat; and in the Hereafter by its effect -: "Indeed, it"; and He established the matter of its growth by saying: "A tree"; and He further clarified the matter by saying: "It comes out"; and He confirmed it with the circumstance; so He said: "In the origin"; meaning: stable; and the bottom; and the majority; and the abode of "the Hellfire"; meaning: the fire of intense burning; and its branches rise to its depths.
