And when the first thing chosen in a drink is its color, then its taste, he said - describing what is in the cup of wine as a usage -: ﴿White﴾; meaning: bright and clear; it is of the utmost delicacy; it sparkles with light; and he emphasized in describing it with goodness; by making it an explanation of the meaning in his saying: ﴿A delight for the drinkers﴾; by what they used to sip from cups of sorrows and troubles; and he revealed the place of the implicit; in general; and linking the ruling to the description; and he gathered a reference to the fact that they do not elevate it except as such; by what is in it of increased delight.
