Commentary

And when it became established for Him - glorified and exalted is He - from the greatness what has been mentioned; the matter was His matter; and the creation was His creation; His transcendence from every deficiency was established; and His attributes of all perfection; therefore, the result of that was the conclusion with the totality of glorification and praise; so He said: ﴿Glory be to Your Lord﴾; meaning: the Benefactor to You by sending You; and establishing the clear, well-defined proof of Your truthfulness in all that occurs from the states of Your enemies; whether in words or silence; and supporting You with all strength; and bestowing upon You all awe; ﴿Lord of Might﴾; meaning: which He is exclusively characterized by; as understood by the addition; and as indicated by the witness of existence; and the ruler of reason; and it has been known from what has been mentioned in this surah that it overcomes everything; and nothing overcomes it; and in the addition of the Lord to Him; and to Might; there is an indication of His exclusivity - blessings and peace be upon him - and all who agree with him in his matter from all of creation; with Might; even if it appears outwardly otherwise; ﴿From what they describe﴾; from that which necessitates deficiencies; due to what has been established from their misguidance; and their distance from the truth.
