Commentary
﴿And make them see﴾; that is: with your sight; and your insight at the time we have set for you; and before it: how their conditions and changes affect them whenever they turn to decline.
And when they were before Islam blind; deaf; because they do not believe a promise; nor a warning; nor do they think about the outcome; he omitted the object from their action; so he said - threatening; confirming with procrastination; not distancing -: ﴿So they will surely see﴾; that is: they will attain the sight that is without error with the eye; and the heart; after they were in blindness; and this time is clear on the day of 'Badr'; and what was like it before the conquest; for they had at those times a type of strength; and for that reason, he established for them a type of affirmation in their sight.
