Commentary
And when He stripped from all everything of power; except what He granted them; and the disbelievers claimed that they worship Allah (glorified and exalted is He); and they exalt Him; and that associating partners does not harm that; He clarified that the sincere ones are specifically distinguished from them by the positions of purity; and the stations of truthfulness and loyalty; because their obedience was invalidated by their associating partners; so He said - affirming and specifying -: ﴿And indeed﴾; meaning: O assembly of the sincere ones; ﴿We are﴾; meaning: besides you; ﴿the ones standing in rows﴾; meaning: ourselves in prayer; and in jihad; and our wings in the air in what we were sent with; and other than that; for the gathering of our hearts upon obedience;
