And when He glorified His sacred self - glorified and exalted is He - from every deficiency; He indicated that by saying that they (p-310) and all that they worship besides Him are not able to do anything that He has not decreed; so He said - causing to be derived from the glorification; affirming; refuting those who think that others besides Allah own anything; addressing them directly; because it is more severe; and more deserving of anger -: "So indeed you and what you worship"; meaning: from the idols and others; from all whom you claim to be a god; and He began the news with "Indeed"; so He prefaced it with the negation; and He said:
