Commentary
Peace; and when it was in His name; according to the lightening of the Arabs for it; there are languages; one of which corresponds to the endings; so there is no difference in conveying the meaning between bringing what has agreed from it; and what has many letters from it is greater and more magnificent and more eloquent; and the context after much of his virtues for the end of the praise; was best expressed with what has more letters; and it corresponds to the endings to indicate his establishment in the virtues; and to confirm that it is a foreign name; not an Arabic one; derived from despair; and although the reading of Ibn 'Amir with the connection of his hamzah may imply that; he said: "Upon Al-Yasīn"; and whoever read: "Al-Yas"; it is permissible that what is intended in his reading is what is intended from the other reading; because the people of language said: indeed, the family is the person himself; and "Yas"; is either a language for "Elias"; or the second language, which is "Eliasīn"; has been shortened; the broken hamzah has been removed; along with the lam; and it is permissible that what is meant by his family is his followers; and that would be greater in his right; for what has preceded of what the context calls for; and it is permissible that this reading refers to all the prophets mentioned in this surah; of whom he is one; that is: upon the mentioned prophets after Surah "Yas"; indicating what its meanings call for from oneness; and messengership; and resurrection; and humbling the disobedient; and honoring the obedient who is devoted to his Lord's love free from all obstacles; cutting off the flight to Him the strongest of ties; and he specifically chose this story because it is the conclusion of the stories that are accepted in it for its people.
