Commentary
And when a person knows with certainty that he did not nurture himself; neither by creation from nothing; nor by what comes after it; and that kindness is the greatest motivation for a person; he said - clarifying for those who wanted; reminding them of His kindness towards them; and to those whom they defend; and they show affection to those who showed them affection by nurturing after creation from nothing; which is the greatest nurturing; magnifying the matter; and glorifying by the substitution; in the reading of the congregation; by raising -: ﴿Allah﴾; so he mentioned by the greatest name; which encompasses all attributes; as a reminder that He is the absolute first; of whom nothing exists except by Him; ﴿Your Lord﴾; meaning: the one who is kind to you alone; and when they sometimes attributed their existence to those before them; out of ignorance on their part; or stubbornness; he said: ﴿And the Lord of your forefathers﴾; meaning: those who are the first for you; thus including their closest fathers; and those before them up to Adam - peace be upon him.
