And when they denied to him that they would do the actions of one who has no intellect, he said - completing the humiliation -: ﴿This﴾; indicating to those present, either at the time of standing at its edge, or when being pushed into it; ﴿Hell﴾; meaning: that which confronts you with frowning and scowling, just as you used to do to My righteous servants; ﴿That which you were﴾; meaning: a state I prepared you for to accept what could be, by what I instilled in you of intellects; and when the danger was the warning of it, not its being from a specific one, he said - establishing the action -: ﴿You are warned﴾; meaning: if you do not return from your deviation;
