Commentary
And when this bringing forth is due to justice; and the manifestation of all attributes of perfection; He said: ﴿So today﴾; and when the negation of injustice is absolute, it is more eloquent than the negation of it from any specific individual; and it indicates the intended meaning; and it is more concise; He said - directing the saying away from the manifestation; or the concealment with a manifestation of greatness; or otherwise -: ﴿No one is wronged﴾; and when the expression (p-145) is that which is often made a target of vices; and desires; and deficiencies; it indicates the generality of the negation of injustice; He said: ﴿No soul﴾; meaning: any soul it may be; whether hated or beloved; ﴿is wronged﴾; meaning: no injustice occurs to it at all; from anyone at all; in anything at all; and when the recompense is by the same kind, it indicates the ability; and it enters into justice; He said - affirming with the address; and the plural; that the negated injustice is for all who are suitable for the address; so that it does not fall into the misconception that the negated injustice is for specific souls; or a single soul -: ﴿And you will not be recompensed﴾; meaning: for any action of actions; anything of recompense; from anyone at all; ﴿except for what you used to do﴾; as a habit for you; by what is ingrained in your natures.
