And when they confirmed that among themselves; they followed it with its evidence; and by informing that the consequence of denial does not bring them any harm from it; indicating to them the warning of the punishment of the mighty king; they said: "And what is upon us"; meaning: it is obligatory; from the one who sent us; and that is Allah (glorified and exalted is He); to whom belongs all command; "except the clear conveyance"; meaning: the one supported by definitive proofs; from the verbal and practical evidences; with miracles; and others; for if He did not know, it would not have been possible for us anything of that; just as your deities, when they had no knowledge, could not provide any clarification regarding their matter; and since the knowledge of our sender regarding our message has been established; He is the witness for us of what appears in our hands; and sufficient is He as a witness.
