And when the moderate and the foremost are saddened by their perfection and their intense compassion for the wrongdoer when he is punished, they gathered and said - expressing in the past, confirming it -: "And they said"; meaning: upon their entering: "All praise"; meaning: the encompassing of the attributes of perfection; "to Allah"; meaning: the One who has complete power; "who has removed"; meaning: by our entering this; "from us the sadness"; meaning: this type; by His perfection; so we do not grieve over anything that has passed us; and there will be no sadness for us ever; for we have entered a realm where nothing is missed at all and nothing perishes.

And when they were aware of what they had committed of slips, or mistakes, or lapses, which if it were not for generosity would have led them to the Fire, they explained what they had come to with it by saying - confirming; informing of what they have of joy in being pardoned for their sins; and that what they confirmed is true, to the extent that they emphasize it for what they saw of its correctness; and they reaped from the sweet fruit of it -: "Indeed, our Lord"; meaning: the One who is good to us despite our wrongdoing; "is surely Forgiving"; meaning: erasing of sins; both in essence and effect; for the first two groups; "and Appreciative"; meaning: for what He has granted to the servant of good obedience; and what He has facilitated for him of good deeds; and He made him thereby a foremost one;
