And when some of the indicators of speech - as has been mentioned - are clearer than others, a person may conceal an intention to do harm if he is able. He may cause harm through an action he performs, while claiming that he intended something else that does not cause harm. Allah, the Most High, said, urging them to be aware and attentive in their words and other matters, and to have good intentions, both outwardly and inwardly. This is in the context of responding to one who may have concluded from the apparent meaning, while he is determined to cause harm when he is able: "If you reveal" meaning with your tongues or otherwise "anything" [of that or other than it] "or conceal it" meaning in your hearts.
And when the action of one who conceals a matter from the people is like that of one who thinks that it is hidden from his Lord, He said, emphasizing and alerting the doer of this to the necessity of his action as a warning for him: "Indeed, Allah" meaning the One who possesses all attributes of perfection "has always been" from eternity to eternity with this. Thus, the origin was, but He brought forth what encompasses it and others, saying: "Knowing everything" meaning of that and other than it "He knows what you conceal and what you disclose, even if you excel in concealing it, and He will reward you for it with reward or punishment.
