And when the most evident of the times in the fruit of this description is after death, Allah, the Exalted, said, clarifying His mercy for them: ﴿Their greeting on the Day they meet Him﴾ meaning by death or resurrection ﴿is peace﴾ meaning they say that to Him, 'You are peace, and from You is peace, so we have come to our Lord with peace.' [As the one in ihram says, resembling the state of those in the gathering, and they are answered with peace.] This is in which their honor is manifested, and they are safe with Him from every harm. ﴿And He has prepared﴾ meaning while He has prepared ﴿for them﴾ meaning after the everlasting safety ﴿a noble reward﴾ meaning an abundant reward that has no distress in any of it.
