Commentary
And when the establishment of prophethood between him and [anyone from] the men is a deficiency of knowledge, it is necessary to purify Him, glorified is He, from that. So He said: ﴿And glorify Him﴾, meaning from having anything contrary to what He has informed of, and from every attribute of deficiency after you have affirmed for Him every attribute of perfection. ﴿Morning and evening﴾, meaning at the beginning of the day and its end, meaning always, because these two times are either for the engaging in work, beginning or ending, or for rest. Thus, the obligation of remembrance in both of them is an obligation for Him in others, by which it is more important. Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said: Allah has not made an obligation upon His servants except that He has set for it a known limit.
