And when he mentioned the speaker in both of its forms, he mentioned the silent one and said: "And He has made you inherit their land" from the gardens and others; and when he included, he specified by saying: "and their dwellings" because it is defended more than others; then he included by saying: "and their wealth" from what has preceded and from other things such as currency, livestock, weapons, furniture, and others. It sheathed the sword of disbelief and drew the sword of faith for the heads and necks, until the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, who was the most knowledgeable of people concerning wars and the most insightful in opinion due to his steadfastness in times of distress, said: "Now we will raid them, and they will not raid us." Allah, the Exalted, said: "And a land which you have not yet trodden" meaning you will conquer it by your preparation for victory over it and by granting you the strength close to its conquest. It is the land of Khaybar first, then the land of Makkah second, then the land of Persia and Rome and others that Allah opened after that. He had judged this in this battle when those flashes were shown to the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, while digging the trench. He showed him in the first the Yemen, in the second Persia, and in the third Rome.

And when that was a remarkable matter, He made it easy by His saying: "And Allah" meaning eternally and perpetually with His attributes of perfection "is over all things" this and others "All-Powerful" meaning encompassing in power.
