And when their concern was intense with the constant presence of their homes. They showed the intensity of concern for its protection falsely. Allah made that clear and indicated it by ascribing to the homes, as a reminder that they are the protectors and the mainstay. He said: "And if they had entered" meaning their homes from any intruder among these factions or others. And He feminized the verb explicitly regarding the intended meaning and as a reference to what is attributed to them being worthy of weakness. He expressed it with a tool of elevation, saying: "upon them" as an indication that it is an entrance of dominance "from its corners" meaning all its sides, such that there would be no place for them to escape.
