And when it became evident from this truthful saying that there is no escape from their punishment, he said in response to their softening at that time, denying what their words might imply, that he is in need of worship: "So taste," meaning: what you used to deny of it because of what has been established with me from the saying, "because of what you forgot the meeting of your day."
